Her goal since the start of training was to return home to provide surgical care to rural citizens in the heart of Illinois. She trained in North Carolina under the founders of modern-day hernia surgery and abdominal wall reconstruction. She continues to be involved in the education or rural-interested surgical residents.
Dr. Isolina’s grandfather – Dr. L. J. Rossi, Sr – was the founder of Hopedale Medical Complex. She continues his calling to prove that rural medical care can be world-class. HMC prides itself in patient-centered care with a comprehensive treatment approach. She follows the HMC tradition of providing surgical services in addition to primary care, if desired. Her clinics are in Tremont and Hopedale.
I trained at one of the largest hospitals in the US – It is obvious in this post-Covid era that patient care has changed. Rural citizens deserve physicians who will take ownership to help them navigate an increasingly complex system. We will review the problem together including imaging/bloodwork to create a personalized treatment plan. If surgery is indicated, then I will utilize minimally invasive techniques for a quicker recovery. Surgery is not always recommended and in this case we will find the solution for a better quality of life.
I look forward to bringing back a personal touch to healthcare. HMC has a tradition of providing cutting edge care with high quality outcomes close to home.
